There are excellent walking and cycling opportunities along the Montgomery Canal and Offa’s Dyke Pathway and both are close by. Visitors to the area can also enjoy Whittington, Powis and Chirk castles and the World Heritage Site of Ironbridge Gorge, with its ten museums. This is an ideal base for exploring the whole of Shropshire and deep into Wales.
