Located just 5 minutes from the centre of Shaldon, a picturesque village at the mouth of the Teign Estuary, Rose House is a fabulous coastal property for friends and family to explore South Devon. With far reaching views across the River Teign to the moorlands in the distance, it is perfectly positioned between the English Riviera towns of Torquay, Paignton and Brixham, and the world famous Jurrassic Coast. With ample parking and a large garden with terrace to enjoy the sunset views, this tranquil property will be your home from home for all that is to be explored in the area.

The open plan living area with access to the terrace is the heart of this home, where guests will enjoy gathering with friends and family and enjoying the views from every window. The sliding doors from the living area not only fill the property with light, but the view will tempt you out onto the terrace where outdoor seating areas provide the perfect spot to relax at the end of a day exploring. Younger guests and dogs will enjoy the lovingly tended grounds which wrap around the property. The garden has an abundance of shrubs and flowers as well as a raised pond.

With all principal rooms accessed on the entrance level of Rose House, it makes a perfect choice for multi-generation groups. The master bedroom with bay window enjoys a beautiful outlook over the garden and across the river, as does the second double bedroom, and a twin bedroom with vanity sink completes the entrance level accommodation.

Summary: This property is very spacious throughout. The views were stunning looking over the river and the sunsets were amazing. There were plenty of towels and lots of wardrobe space in each room. Beds were comfortable and instructions in the welcome pack were very well detailed. The garden was beautiful to look out on whist sitting on the large patio. Nice welcome gift pack on arrival, house sits on a large plot with plenty of space on the large drive for several cars. It was a great base for visiting the surrounding area. Although on the sunny days, could quite easily have lounged between the lounge room and patio area, watching the boats and trains. Would highly recommend and stay again if we were to go that way.
