Garthfolds is a delightful 6 bedroom Farmhouse nestling on a Cumbrian rural estate in the glorious unspoiled Eden Valley. With breathtaking views across the valley towards the Pennines, this much loved family home is perfect for enjoying the very best of Cumbria. Ideal for an all ages family and friends get together, Garthfolds offers seclusion and 5 star accommodation in glorious surroundings. Downstairs are two reception rooms with views across the garden, a huge farmhouse kitchen with range cooker, refectory table and seating for 10. Bedroom no 6, shower room and utility room are also on the ground floor. which is perfect for guests who struggle a little with the stairs. Upstairs are 5 double bedrooms and two bathrooms – one with shower cubicle and the other with shower over bath. There are stripped wooden floors, much loved antiques, embroidered wall hangings and even a games table! Summary: We really can't express how much we enjoyed our trip. Arrival process was smooth and the hosts had gone above and beyond. The house was clean and well- equipped. The bedding was all really cosy and clean. The location is beautiful with oustanding views. We had two small children with us and they thoroughly enjoyed running in the garden and looking at our animal neighbours! The garden is enclosed and felt very secure for my 2 year old as well as my dog. Best house ever for a family game of hide and seek! The things memories are made of. I wouldnt hesistate to recommend this property and we are already talking about when we can return. Thank you to the hosts.
