This home has been thoughtfully modernised to maintain the original features and charm, with space for everyone, comfortably sleeping 10-12 in 6 bedrooms including 4 bathrooms (2 ensuite).
The space
Enter the house into a bright modern dual aspect kitchen diner. The large space has lots of surfaces for food prep with a kitchen island at the centre and a separate breakfast table. Featuring a gas hob, oven with separate grill, Nespresso pod coffee machine, microwave, dishwasher, double fridge, TV (including Sky Sports across all TVs) and fully equipped with all your cookery needs. Next door there’s a separate boot room and utility with washing machine, dryer, and fridge freezer.
From the kitchen there are French doors leading to a pretty patio area for outside dining, BBQing and watching the tennis across the lawn (rackets and balls available). And just a few steps away is the ‘piece de resistance’, the heated swimming pool area which is decked out with lounge furniture for hours of fun throughout the summer.
Back in the house there’s a cosy snug with TV and wood burning stove, adjoined by the kids playroom inclusive of toys for kids from 2-10 years of age.
There’s a traditionally panelled formal dining room which extends to seat up to 16 and a large triple aspect lounge with French windows with stunning views over the fields where the sun sets, perfect for evening drinks around the fire pit. The lounge has ample seating, open fire and fully stocked with board games to wind the evenings away.
Upstairs all the bedrooms deliver unspoilt views across the countryside. The light filled master king bedroom has an underfloor heated ensuite bathroom with bath, shower and includes his & hers sinks.
At the other end of the landing is a further large double bedroom with its own ensuite. And there are a further three bedrooms, a pretty twin bedroom and two good sized single bedrooms that share a family bathroom (underfloor heating).
Slightly separate from the main house is the office and sixth bedroom. This space can sleep four, it includes a double sofa bed, plus a mezzanine floor with double bed. This space is great for families wanting to be together and has access to the downstairs shower room.
