Summary: Had a wonderful 4 night stay in a beautiful quiet village. Accommodation was clean, comfortable, well equipped and quiet. Lovely touches of fresh garden flowers, jar of chocolate cookies and tea/coffee, jug of milk supplied. We were made to feel very welcome by the host and communication was clear and concise. We loved the wandering, grazing cows and families of ducks and geese walking around.The local pub The Alice Hawthorn served wonderful food and drink and was well worth a visit but I would advise to book in advance.The location for us to Ripon Races/Harrogate/York was perfect and we loved returning to our quiet, peaceful retreat. I would definitely recommend this property.
