The towns of Launceston, Holsworthy and Okehampton are the nearest and all have a rich history. There is a steam railway in Launceston where you can enjoy a trip through the unspoilt countryside of Cornwall. Great cycling along the granite way in Okehampton. You can find golf clubs in Holsworthy and Launceston.
