Swallows Nest is a charming two bedroom cottage nestled down a hollyhock lined traditional ‘loke’ in the heart of Blakeney Village. The property is ideally situated just a short walk from the famous Quay, local eateries, and boutique shops and has been lovingly furnished to make this a perfect retreat for a relaxing holiday.
A Parking pass is provided for the Harbour Rooms immediately opposite the loke to the property and the cottage enjoys a pretty shared lawned garden, ideal for picnics, BBQs or simply relaxing. If your dogs get muddy whilst out and about there is also an outside dog shower to clean them off before retreating inside. Swallows Nest also offers an enclosed garden room with mini kitchen and table and chairs to allow you to enjoy the outside from inside if you need to dodge a rain shower or its too hot outside. The cottage is accessed via a tiled entrance area leading into a galley style kitchen. The owners have equipped the kitchen with everything the holiday chef could require and includes an oven, hob, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine (a starter pack of pods will be provided). The kitchen leads into a beautifully decorated living room with oak floors and is furnished with a comfortable sofa and armchair and Smart TV all surrounding a wood burning stove for cosy winter evenings! Meals can be enjoyed at the farmhouse table and the owners have provided a selection of books and games for guests to enjoy. Also situated on the ground floor is the family bathroom with a shower over the bath, wash hand basin and WC.
Up the traditional winder staircase, the property has two bedrooms. The inviting master bedroom overlooks the garden and features a double bed, a vanity unit with mirror and hair dryer and plenty of wardrobe storage. The small but lovingly decorated second bedroom has bunk beds for the children to enjoy and a chest of drawers for storage.
