Killin today is a popular tourist destination, due in no small part to the use of the falls in various films and television programmes. The village today has a varied selection of shops, bars and restaurants and watersports are available on nearby Loch Tay. Ideal for walking, Killin has Ben Lawers, the highest of the surrounding Bens, to the north and Ben More and Stobinian to the west.
