Summary: Thatchways is a great place with character and great atmosphere. There are a lot of historical books about local history on the shelf to read by the fire at night to get into the vibes of the village. We got to enjoy beautiful sunsets every night. There is a lot for the children to explore and a great garden. We are glad that we found Crackington Haven and would recommend The Coombe Inn, both cafes and the village shop (run by locals) near the Institute up the road and we would definitely recommend Thatchways and hope to come back one day. Great place to explore the coastal path both ways that is just outside the door.
