Gartmore is the perfect setting for those who love outdoor pursuits, with hundreds of kilometres of forest track easily accessible, The ‘endless’ swimming-pool provides optimal swimming conditions for a single swimmer and the current can be adjusted to a preferred level of difficulty. Summary: The Cottage served as a location to celebrate our son's 21st Birthday and provided everything we were looking for, access to nature, a peaceful environment and a homely cottage that sufficiently catered for all our needs. We especially enjoyed the space of the rooms, the comforting wood burner and accessibility of the hot tub. As with other reviewers, the access road can be a challenge without the right vehicle - but we were thankful for Rosie and Dave's generous help and support having received a hire car that wasn't quite fit for purpose :-)
