But if you do want to rustle up supper 'at home', then the well-equipped kitchen allows you to do this easily too. With a lovely stable door allowing you to let the sunshine in while you cook and a balcony just outside at the top of the oak staircase, you can enjoy supper or breakfast with a newspaper whilst relaxing on the bistro table and chairs.
The sitting room has views on three sides but mainly overlooks the village green and is perfect for a relaxing evening reading or watching the television. Great Massingham is one of Norfolk's prettiest villages and the apartment's outside space and small terrace at the top of the oak staircase overlooks The Church of St Mary and its grounds. The green is a great place to also relax, head over there with a rug and good book, but remember that you may have to share your space with the large number of resident ducks and geese who have also made the village ponds their home.
