Travel Purpose: business

Positive: The Old Piggery is very comfortable and well equipped. A lovely big garden, which would be a definite plus in the warmer months.

Negative: Everything was excellent until unfortunately there was a problem with the hot water and heating for the last 24 hours of our stay. It is a very new, modern system, and there are bound to be teething problems. The owners did manage to sort the water, but not the heating. They did provide an electric heater, but, unfortunately, with temperatures outside of around -8, it was not adequate to heat the area comfortably.

Summary: The Old Piggery provided us with an excellent base to visit family and friends in the area.
