A beautiful wing of the owner's home located in the scattered village of Hampton Lovett, close to Droitwich Spa and surrounded by lovely Worcestershire countryside. This bright and cheery cottage is ideal for a romantic break, allowing guests to relax and unwind in a lovely part of the country. The front stable door takes you into the superb kitchen complete with a dining area, the window of which overlooks the courtyard to a field beyond. From the kitchen, head into the inner hall, to the left of which is a luxurious shower room, carry on through the hall and enter the gorgeous sitting room with sumptuous sofas, a warming woodburning stove, dining area and doors to the rear garden. Back in the hall make your way upstairs to a stunning king-size bedroom which has the added benefit of an en-suite bathroom. Head outside to the rear enclosed garden which boasts a patio, furniture and lawned area. This is an ideal place to enjoy alfresco dining on a summer's evening, or just relax and take in the peace and tranquillity. The area offers numerous lovely walks with the Wychavon Way and Monarch's Way both nearby. Just a short drive away is the black and white village of Ombersley, which has Checketts Fine Food store and café and traditional pubs serving real ale and home-cooked food. The thriving spa town of Droitwich is home to one of a few remaining open-air salt water swimming pools, has a traditional town centre with an eclectic mix of shops, a theatre and golf club and plays host to regular farmers markets. Further afield, visit the birthplace of William Shakespeare, Stratford-upon-Avon, the unspoilt Cotswold towns and villages, Worcester with its stunning cathedral, Ludlow, Leominster and the many National Trust properties in the area. A wonderful cottage for a memorable holiday at any time of year.
