Positive: The kitchen was well equipped ( but full of spiders throughout the property. See photos) There was enough cleaning equipment till you bought your own. The bed was clean and comfortable . Clean towels were also available.

Negative: The picture shown above unfortunately does not equate to what we got. The whole area around the cottage is not just overgrown but very overgrown. ( 4th pic is the entrance to cottage) I appreciate I didn’t pay a lot for the property. But the basic cleanliness of the property was not very good. ( see pic 1&2 this is what greeted me in the kitchen sink. There were cobwebs all over it! I washed some away before I decided to take the pictures. In hindsight I should have taken more photos)there were spiders all over the cottage. Not one or two they were everywhere and they were big( pic 3 in bathroom) It was obvious that the cottage had seen better days. The first time I filled the kettle then poured the water for our tea , all that came out were white bits. Tried to get rid of it but gave up and used a pan to boil the water for tea . (I bought a kettle the next day) . But as we were literally only in the property from 18:00 till 9am as we were out all day sightseeing.The Wi-Fi was very temperamental . But once the owner returned to their home we couldn’t get on as they had priority. Basically the whole cottage needed even a basic lick of paint. And an actual cleaner to clean it ( I would have hoovered up but there wasn’t one)

Summary: Would i recommend this cottage to anyone. I’m sorry to say . No!
