Negative: Got off to a bad start. The accommodation is entered by using a door code. This was not conveyed to me in the correspondence with the owner prior to my visit. When I arrived at the property I could not get access. I phoned the telephone numbers on the main door, not answered so left a message, and did the same using the tel no on the confirmation note I`d copied from the online website & brought with me. After 30 minutes I`d received no response to either voice mail so left a strongly worded message. That got a response ! And from a 3rd tel no not quoted on the door or on their website ! I was told a message had been emailed to me the night before with details of the code needed to enter. As I`d been travelling around Dorset and Hants for 4 days I had not been at home and able to view my computer messages. Also the supposed text message sent to my mobile phone was never received. After finally accessing the property I found the room to be OK, no more than that. Plug in the hand basin had no chain so when in the plughole it was difficult to extract. The door on the wardrobe had a broken catch so did not open/close properly. I understand that the owners have recently taken over the property so I am reluctant to criticise but bearing in mind I had paid up front weeks before arriving I deserved better service and communication. There are many other accommodations in Bournemouth at the same price or cheaper that I have stayed at. I was unlucky in my choice this time. And it will be my last time here.
