The Woodshed has been converted into a spacious living space with all the facilities you could want for your stay. It is a lovely base for a couple to use whilst exploring the Suffolk coast and countryside. It is possible to pick up a footpath close to the property and head into the neighbouring village of Laxfield or head further afield .

Downstairs, the open-plan space has a well equipped kitchen, a dining area and a cosy space to relax in with a wood burning stove. Upstairs the bedroom has views over the fields at the back of the property and you can lie in bed and take in the view.

There are two other properties at Green Valley Farm - The Dairy and The Cowshed. Each can be booked separately or if you have a larger party but want your own space during your stay you can book all three barns together to sleep six - The Barns at Green Valley Farm.

Summary: The accommodation was clean, warm and comfortable downstairs. A very comfortable sofa. Upstairs a very comfortable bed. However there were soon issues. The upstairs bedroom restrictive in terms of high not just for tall people but also average height and maybe smaller. One had to manoeuvre oneself around the bed bent at the neck! There was ample space to build the kitchen to include a dish washer and cupboard space for ones provisions for self catering, but this hadn’t been done. Also cutlery and crockery was limited so one had to do a lot of washing up of dishes. No cafeteria provided in the accommodation. Never had that before in all the self catering we have used. Had to ask an got a one person one, which was frustrating having to remake/ refill a number of times at breakfast. Washing machine and ironing board while advertised in the promotion information was kept in a separate place/ building, which while named in the information, wasn’t explained in the information where it was or how to get to. Also the entry code wasn’t given. When I tried on a number of occasions to find out about it nobody was in the main house. So didn’t manage to get my washing done! I don’t think I am being petty with these issues as it is supposed to be holiday accommodation with no hassles.
