Summary: Violet Cottage was a great little find in a perfect location to explore the Broads. It’s a perfect little wooden lodge with its own garden. Every detail has been thought of giving you everything you might need for your break including a welcome cake. A well equipped kitchen area with oven, hob, microwave, toaster, dishwasher and even a washing machine. Two comfy chairs for reading, watching the tv or just observing the nature on your doorstep. During our short stay we saw Muntjac deer, 2 different woodpeckers and a pheasant wandering around in the garden, lovely. A very comfortable king size bed and a large bathroom with walk-in shower. There is a community shop at the end of the road which stocks the basics and a lovely pub which serves good food and I believe has a micro brewery. Would definitely stay here again.
