The castle ruins clinging to the cliff top afford stunning views out to sea. The harbour village of Boscastle is a short drive away, as is the fishing village of Port Isaac, probably better known as Port Wenn in the long running Doc Martin TV series. Bodmin Moor, where you will find many walks, is within easy reach, and a visit to Padstow with Rick Stein’s famous seafood restaurant is a must. From Padstow you can catch a ferry across the Camel estuary to Rock, another charming coastal town. No trip to Cornwall would be complete without a day trip to Land’s End, the most westerly point of England’s mainland. If you tire of sight seeing, why not spend a relaxing day on one of the many beautiful beaches around the Cornish coastline. Beach 1 mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
