Station road is a comfortable and cosy little cottage and has been renovated and refurbished in 2021 and is the ideal place to spend a relaxing holiday in this beautiful region.
On the ground floor there is a lovely kitchen/dining with a door opening to a small private courtyard which benefits from the sun all day, therefore the perfect place to enjoy breakfast, lunch or supper al fresco! There is also a cosy sitting room on the ground floor that features an ornamental fire, and upstairs are two bedrooms and a family bathroom. Burgh by Sands is in the Solway coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is ideally placed for exploring The Lake District National Park, Northumberland, Scotland and of course Hadrian’s Wall.
The historic city of Carlisle is only a 15-minute drive away and of course no visit to the area is complete without a trip into the National Park to take in the beauty of the fells and lakes for which the park is renowned. Return after a day sightseeing to enjoy the peace of Station Road or you could always take a short walk to the local pub and enjoy a glass of wine or two!
