There are also plenty of coastal walks that are brimming with wildlife along the renowned striped Hunstanton cliffs. Head to the Sandringham Estate – just over 10 miles – to explore the royal park or enjoy an afternoon tea fit for a king in the restaurant. Make a beeline for Snettisham Beach (14 miles) to stroll along the shore and spot the wildlife that lives in the adjacent expanse of heathland and marsh.

As night falls, you can retire to one of three lovely bedrooms. Head to the room with the twin beds that can be made into a super-king on request. Or fall asleep in one of the two King-size bedrooms, both of which also boasts en-suite shower rooms. A stylish family shower room and separate WC complete the layout of this fantastic Norfolk lodge.
Outside, you’ll also find a stunning outdoor lounge area with comfy seating and a gas-fired fire pit.
