Lace up your boots and embark on the nearby Monsal Trail, Stanage Edge or Dovedale which all offer breathtaking views. Rent a bike and explore the Tissington Trail and High Peak, or visit Carsington Water which not only is great for an 8 mile cycle or walk, but also has many water sports and bird watching opportunities. Visit historic buildings such as Haddon Hall and the stately home of Chatsworth House, or amble around the quaint and charming streets of the local towns of Matlock and Bakewell.
