The park includes The Peace Garden, a memorial for the World Wars and the working Lowestoft Lighthouse.
Lowestoft town includes the Harbour and South Pier and further along is Pakefield Beach, a popular spot for fishing and a site of special geological interest. The local buses stop at the end of North Parade Road and Lowestoft Railway Station is nearby which connects to Norwich and onwards.
