Begrun Cottage is our dog-friendly, peaceful, ground-level cottage. Ideal for a relaxed escape with plenty of space to breathe. Your private south-facing conservatory looks out over the garden, Eden Water and open fields towards the Cheviot Hills. It’s a gentle, quiet spot for long lunches or simply watching the birds. After exploring the Borders, you can settle in by your wood-burning stove and enjoy the evening glow.
Begrun is perfect for two to four guests. The bedroom can be set up as a twin or king-size, and there’s a double sofa bed in the living room. A travel cot can be added if needed. Dogs are very welcome, and it’s a brilliant cottage for four-legged guests — you can head straight out for walks from the door, and the surrounding countryside is full of peaceful lanes, riverside paths and rolling hills to explore together.
The separate kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, fridge-freezer, oven, hob and microwave. The bathroom has a shower over the bath, with plenty of hot water thanks to our biomass boiler. Summary: If it's peace and quiet you want in lovely surrondings, this is the place. It's immaculately clean with everything you need for a self catering break. The view from the lounge, bedroom and conservatory are amazing with lush green fields as far as the eye can see. The host is lovely and friendly. Would highly recommend if you want a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life in quite surrondings.
