Summary: I can hardly describe what a wonderful experience this hotel was. An exceptionally beautiful old Victorian house, with a lovely, comfortable and easily accessible garden. There is also a small private woodland, with little hidden corners and places to sit. You would have to search long and hard to find staff as helpful, welcoming and accommodating as these. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet, with complimentary coffee and a wide selection of snacks. The food was fantastic and clearly prepared with great care and love. This is a place that is run from the heart, with an unmistakable ability to understand and accommodate your wishes. Without a doubt, the best and most relaxing hotel of our entire trip. My warmest recommendations.
