Summary: The hotel is located on Loch Earn with very beautiful views overlooking the Loch and towards Ben Vorlich. We stayed in one of the rooms with a loch view and I thought it was worth the extra bit of money to wake up and see the sunrise over the loch in the morning. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The hotel can be a little noisy at times, particularly noticeable at night with sounds of creaky floorboards, expanding pipes and other guests stomping up and down the hallway but nothing to warrant a complaint. There are plenty of parking spaces to accommodate hotel guests and those just visiting for a meal - the parking lot is visible from rooms facing the loch. All of our interactions with staff were pleasant. The meals in the bar were all very good. The hotel is located very close (about a 15-minute walk) to the Glen Ogle trail which is a nice 2-3h walk (after a bit of a climb...) with lovely views of the loch and surrounding Glen. Details about trails in the area are available at reception. All in all, we had a lovely time and would recommend it to others visiting the area.

Summary: We visited family in the area and the Clachan Cottage is perfect for the trip. Although we were not going to arrive in time for check-in I was able to call and make alternative arrangements for our arrival. The staff are friendly and we enjoyed our trip.

Summary: Stayed 3 nights for my partner's birthday and found everything spot on. From the comfort of the room to the helpfulness of the management all was just as we had hoped. Can't fault this hotel at all

Summary: Beautiful location. Rooms are comfortable. Be ware however there are no bikes which was one factor in booking this property. I was told that it was old information on the website and the manager couldn't do anything about it. The rest of the staff was very personable and helpful.

Summary: The location is amazing and we had a very comfortable room on the 1st floor. It's wonderful sitting by the loch to enjoy a couple of drinks and the bar offers typical pub grub that suited us fine. We really enjoyed our stay!
