Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Quaint and lovely as it’s an older type building. Staff very nice and very friendly. Bedroom was on floor one as we requested a lower floor due to a knee problem and this was granted. It was a family room very spacious and king size bed. Also a bath with overhead shower. Food was very good breakfast was enough and cooked well. Table service for main breakfast but you can get your own toast yoghurt fruit tea coffee etc. We parked on main road outside which is narrow but fine for us. There is parking up a gradient inside the grounds. We really enjoyed our stay at the Crown Hotel it was very nice indeed and would DEFINATELY visit again if in that area. Thank you.

Negative: We enjoyed everything but not sure if there was a lift as there were some stairs to our room and car park inside hotel is up a small gradient so you would have to walk up and down this. If you have a disability I would say you should check with the hotel first if it’s manageable. I’m sure they will help to accommodate your needs if possible as they are very nice there.
