Positive: The room was spacious and comfy and dinner at the restaurant was amazing!

Negative: Unfortunately, there was a function on at the hotel on the night of our stay, and the music was extremely loud. I did raise this with the staff, but it seemed there wasn’t much that could be done, so I simply had to wait for it to finish. It was disappointing, as you would expect a hotel and spa like Fairlawns to have given more thought to their guests in this situation. I would imagine this must happen often because there is a separate function room attached to the hotel, which makes me wonder how this is typically managed, particularly on weekends.

Summary: Lovely hotel, if there is no function on when you stay!
