Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Location was perfect for what we needed. Daughter was competing in 70.3 Ironman and shuttle pick up was right outside. Plus was very central to everywhere we needed to be as supporters. Campsite is very quiet which was perfect for us but may just have been the time of year so maybe busier in summer holidays. Chalet was very roomy. There were only 3 of us so was perfect. It may be a little cramped with seating if fully booked with 6 adults. Kitchen was well stocked with crockery, cutlery, toaster, kettle, coffee maker. There were a couple of games on the shelves plus a jigsaw. Clothes horse in the cupboard which was handy to dry the towels. We took our own bed linen & towels. Bathrooms were clean with plenty of hot water. Bruges was a short train journey from Heist station and the car parking was only 20c!

Negative: Twin beds are very small and mattresses very old and soft and really need replacing. Door hinge in toilet in bedroom needs oiling as it is very very squeaky. There were a couple of cleaning issues - a dried up cake on the shelf with the games & some food/drink streaks on the cupboard doors but nothing that concerned us.
