Positive: The Lodge itself was lovely (Dovetail No 22) and it's surroundings.

Negative: Unfortunatly the lodge was in need of some general maintenance. The TV did not work and despite reporting it 3 times, it was only fixed on our last day. We were asked to pay a £200 security depisit when we arrived which we were not advised of prior to arrival and then told on departure that it can take up to 10 days to release !! The Kitchen was ill equipped - the oven shelf did not fit properly. There were saucepans but the lids did not fit and one did not have one at all. There was only one dish. The extractor fan did not work either. In the downstairs bathroom the shower rail was broken, the bath panel was "bodged up" and was generally tired.
