Positive: Staff were so welcoming and helpful throughout the stay, the hotel is gorgeous and the rooms comfortable. The shower was great and the bathroom clean. Ate breakfast a few times and good selection, not big queues (apart from the one coffee machine) and the food was hot and tasty. Had an evening meal in the restaurant once and the food was really good and service was quite quick. I was staying for a wedding and I cannot fault the way the wedding was run, the efficiency, the helpfulness, the beautiful room and lovely food. Good location for getting to town - either a 30min walk or on a main bus route so the 5 and 5A will get yo there in 10min or a taxi also in 10min. The hotel is very close to the airport but the other side of town from the bus station and train station but the town is small so again only a 10min taxi ride from either.

Negative: I struggled a little with the pillow options but I am a fussy sleeper! Also the room I had had something behind the bedhead wall that hummed all night, I got used to it eventually but even my ear plugs didn't really help. The ironing board on back of the bathroom door was a bit odd, it stopped the door shutting properly with the weight pulling it open and banged quite loudly every time I opened or closed the door unless I treated it like a new born baby
