Summary: The hotel itself was lovely. I had come off of a long day of travel and when I went to check in they told me that Expedia messed up and they only had a more expensive room that I had to pay $75 more for. I understand mistakes happen that is not their fault but there were no apologies on their end and when I asked if I could potentially get breakfast included for having to pay extra for something that wasn’t my fault, all I was told “it’s Expedia’s fault, you need to take it up with them”. Honestly, a lovely hotel, but a more understanding / accommodating staff would have been appreciated in this scenario.
