All rooms have lamps and soft lighting, creating ambience when required. French doors lead out onto an upper terrace, with steps down to a very large, private lower terrace, and a comfortable outdoor dining area for 8 guests.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at the Hopton House barn. This is one of the best rentals we've ever stayed in. The house was modern, decorated very tastefully and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay in the Peak District. It was a perfect home base for touring the area and ta couple of walks during our six day visit. Communication with the host was excellent, including instructions on locating the property, check in/out and even some restaurant recommendations for nearby spots. Even though there were only two of us, the house can easily accommodate several more people. If we're ever back in the Peak District, we'll be sure to visit again. We loved it.
