Summary: Booked a cosy double but when entering the room given all you could hear were fans from outside the window, looking out you could see the fans too, we then went to speak to the reception staff who thought giving me the room next door may have made a difference but infact the noise from the fans was worse, she stated it’s because you booked a cosy double, I replied saying it shouldn’t matter what room I booked I shouldn’t expect to be awake all night with fans running outside the windows! Apparently she upgraded us to 319, the room was no different with the smallest bathroom I have ever been in and I stay in hotels a lot with my job. On a plus side the breakfast and breakfast staff were lovely.
