Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Really love the location. It was comfortable and clean. We had a few issues with the water when we got there, but it was an issue with the entire campsite. Then the hot water wasn't working so the propane tank had to be changed, but the owner was responsive and helpful and we ended up with hot water by the end of the night. Didn't have a chance to use the outdoor pool, but it's heated and looked very inviting. Pet friendly and extremely quiet, which was lovely for a good night's sleep. This owner also provided linen and towels, which was great as the previous one did not and we ended up spending double to hire them.

Negative: The only thing we didn't like was the fact that there were no instructions on how to use the boiler or any information on what to do if the propane had run out, which it had. We had to email the owner multiple times as the reception was closed and the only number to call (with no instructions) was an 0845, which my phone provider wouldn't let me call from outside of the UK. It took several hours to sort out but she did have someone sent out to replace the propane tank and turn on the boiler for us, so all good in the end.

Summary: Lovely spot. Clean, quiet and comfortable.
