Summary: My biggest issue was with the support services - I discovered a completely clogged shower drain in my bathroom upon checking in, rendering the shower completely unusable for fear of flooding the entire bathroom. However staff were unable to provide maintenance until the next day and tried to tell me it was okay for me to leave the unit while they did the work (not remembering that I am desperately waiting for a shower and cannot go anywhere until that happens?? very low contextual awareness). No discount or refund was offered. I also pre-ordered room service during my stay, but when it wasn't provided, I finally emailed 2 days before checkout to ask for the charge to be refunded to me as I had already done all the cleaning. My request for a refund was again rejected and they immediately scrambled to provide room service for a unit that had already been cleaned by me and did not need it. Extremely poor experience interacting with the support staff; they made my stay exponentially worse than it otherwise would have been. Location is fantastic - easy access to London Underground, supermarkets, restaurants, and local outdoor food market. Close proximity to universities means there's plenty of students out, very safe place. Apartment building itself is great; easy access thru codes on door lock to building and to each unit. However, it sucked that there's no elevator and I wasn't warned beforehand, so lugging up my heavy suitcase two flights of stairs was painful.
