A walk, drive or bus ride down just ONE road will take you through vibrant Summertown - covering your day to day needs, shops, restaurants / Trendy Jericho - voted one of the countries hippest areas / Oxford city centre and famous college grounds - all within a 10 min journey!

On a summers day make the most of our sun filled, extra lengthy garden and feel free to take advantage of our BBQ (which will require cleaning before and after use)
There is also a Ergometer (rowing machine) on our top landing, which you are welcome to use carefully.
OUT & ABOUT
If you are looking for somewhere nearby to take a walk, have your morning run or feast on a pub lunch with GREAT VIEWS, Port Meadow (featured in Domesday book), Cutteslowe Park (includes bird sanctuary, playground, tennis & volleyball courts, garden centre) are all within walking distance. Jacob's Inn, The Trout Inn and The Plough are local riverside/countryside pub/restaurants worth trying!
Just up the road from ours you will be in vibrant SUMMERTOWN, offering a plethora of supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, banks - covering your day to day needs. They also have a fantastic Sunday farmers market I would recommend going to.
A little bit further beyond Summertown you will be in trendy JERICHO, voted one of the countries 'hippest' areas due to it's eclectic range of independent bars, shops, bike shops, vinyl record stores, cafes, vegan cafes and music venues. Recommendations: The Albion Beatnik - An enthusiastic bookshop with a relaxed cafe, evening events including poetry and jazz performances. Phoenix Picturehouse. Pubs and bars worth going to; Raoul's (great cocktails and vibes) Freuds, Jude the Obscure, Rickety Press, Jericho Tavern (Beer Garden)
OXFORD CITY CENTRE
A little bit further beyond Jericho you will be in the heart of Oxford where you will find the famous college grounds, Said Business School and Oxford Station. Recommendations include: Christ Church College: featured in the Harry Potter films. The Ashmolean Museum: World's first university museum with rooftop cafe. Radcliffe Camera & St. Mary's Church: Oxford University buildings. Bodleian: One of the oldest libraries in Europe with over 12 million items. Westgate Complex: Shops, cinema and on top of the roof restaurants and bars. Punting: Popular leisure activity involving a boat and a pole on the rivers of Cherwell & Isis.
FURTHER AFIELD
The property is just off the A40 taking you to Blenheim Palace in 10 mins and the Cotswolds (Burford) in under a 30 minute drive! Pear Tree Park & Ride is only a 4 minute drive from our home.
The main train station is in central Oxford however there is also the Oxford Parkway train station, only 5 minutes away which travels between Oxford, Bicester village and London Marylebone.
Guest access
Guest will have private access to the entire of my property along with private garden.
SELF CHECK IN
Check-in time is after 3pm and check-out time is before 11am.
Please note: You will be charged £100.00 for lost keys, broken keys and key call outs, so please be careful with them.
A charge will also be applied if guests check in early or check out late without permission or do not place the keys back in the key safe on their departure.
CLEANING/ LINEN
The property will be cleaned and prepared with linen and towels for your arrival. Mid-stay cleans are not included but please get in touch if you would like to pay to book a clean with fresh linen and towels during your stay.
Travel cot available for use, please be sure to bring your own bedding and linen if required as this is not included.
We provide a limited amount of consumables (toilet roll, travel size shampoo/conditioner etc.) to kick-start your stay and will recommend a local store where you can easily purchase more once you have settled in.
PARKING
Free driveway parking included. Guaranteed space for one car. A second car could potentially fit if parked at the right angle, but this is not guaranteed.
AMENITIES
BBQ available in garden, this will not be tended to by our cleaners so please clean after use and maybe expect to before use also
ROWING MACHINE you are welcome to use this but please use carefully and at your own risk
- No parties or extra guests
- Please respect the neighbours by keeping the noise down and no noise after 10pm
- No shoes inside
- When leaving the property please make sure you lock the front door, windows and back door
- If a guest locks themselves out of the property OR they do not place keys in the lockbox at checkout, a £50 fee will apply
- If a guest loses or breaks a set of keys, a £100 fee will apply
- Please make sure rubbish instructions are followed correctly, including using correct bin bags and taking outside in time for rubbish collection day
- Kitchen - please wash up after yourself
