Summary: Hotel has a lovely view and pretty grounds, but unfortunately the weather didn't allow us to enjoy them or sit on the terrace etc. The interior of the hotel is very dated and the hallways smelt musty. However, the rooms were perfectly clean and of a good standard, althought the bed was a little uncomfortable. The bathroom was fitted with a power shower that looked new and worked well. There was plenty of car parking. Staff were freindly and breakfast was very good, althought the dining area did not have a great ambience. We did not eat at the hotel in the evening. The hotel is in a rural location so it was necessary to drive to reach town, but the price did reflect this. Falmouth as a whole seems to be very highly priced at present, so although less than the hotels in town, this stay did not feel like great value for money.
