Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Location on the river, restaurant was good and staff were very good.

Negative: First night the air con was stuck on 24C and it was uncomfortable to sleep. It was a known fault and we were still put in that room. Staff could not fix it, but they did swap our room the next morning. There was a wedding on the Saturday and it was Valentine’s Day. Resturant was very busy with pre-booked tables, but there were not enough staff, which let it down. Rooms were a bit tired and needed updating/maintaining.

Summary: Comfortable riverside hotel which is an oasis in the town.
