Summary: Room was clean n tidy but decor & furnishings was tired def in need of a refurb. Was asked for ID when I checked in to “prove who I was” and challenged when I went in on the second day. Both done for my protection I guess but perhaps says a lot about the normal clientele that was there. Ok for a couple of nights but wouldn’t want to stay there any longer. Reception staff were very helpful.

Summary: A very basic hotel but too basic on the important things. Had to visit reception numerous times about different things. No fresh towels jettle dodnt work shower didnt work. Told recpetion who were polite but didnt action any requests. Noise is really bad as well.

Summary: This is a budget hotel but has new carpets. The rooms have been painted and the rooms were clean. As I walked out two lots of maintenance staff went in with tools for repairs. This is not posh it is basic but the owners are investing. The restaurant building is not part of their operation, is closed and looks like a bomb site at this time but I think this hotel at half the price of others near by is acceptable if you just need a bed for the night. There is a Tesco across the road and food a couple of hundered yards away
