Summary: Lovely hotel in a beautiful part of the country. Room splendid as was the breakfast and the staff. Two things that disappointed. Firstly the room naming on Hotel.com was miss leading they called it deluxe which doesn’t exist. It was actually a small king. To be fair they upgraded us when I queried it. Second reason only giving 3 stars. They hardly had any vegetarian meals. My wife choose the pea risotto only to be told it had been removed. I wanted a steak but they had run out by 7.30pm. I then had the sausage and mash but the sausages were massively over cooked! If it wasn’t for the bottle of wine we were already half way down I would have gone somewhere else. I’ve stayed at several of the hotels in the group and always been so impressed so my expectations were high but in the end felt let down and disappointed which is such a shame as it’s a nice hotel!
