Summary: Visited The Mansion House in Holbeach to attended the Heritage festival at weekend at Sandringham. Stayed for 6 nights. Really lovely hotel, run by an amazing couple Sam & Richard. Nothing is a bother for them. They go above and beyond. Car park areas for approx 3 cars at hotel, but they also have another larger car park area essentially just around corner. Always got parked there too. We stayed in the Deluxe Double Rooms with Ensuite with wonderful showers. Really lovely comfortable rooms and facilities, lovely outside seating area too. Eating area is in basement. All areas very tastefully set out on all levels and in rooms. Very good hospitality trays in rooms. Brilliant tasty breakfasts. Everything you need. Quite a few steps into hotel and within. No lift as it’s such an old building but we managed well with luggage & with help of owners too. Heat wave while we were there, so I was very grateful for the large resident fans in rooms. Nice touch. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this wonderful hidden treasure of a hotel, great location for visiting Lincolnshire and nearby Norfolk. I’ll definitely be returning.
