Summary: Great location for walking around The Rocks area. You can take the train, Light Rail or a ferry from Circular Quay for places further out, like Chinatown, Manly Beach, etc. Res’t & Fortune of War Pub on street level @ hotel. Walk to Opera House, Royal Botanical Gardens, Harbor Bridge. Lots of res’ts, pubs very close by. OPT, 3 for short blocks away for cruisers. We had the Charming Room away from potential noise from front rd.(George St), but we had noise in the small walkway behind the Russell @ nite.
