Summary: the hotelier, Régine, made herself available to text messages and checked in with us daily to make sure the stay was going well and gave recommendations for dining and activities. coming from a tiny hotel room in paris, the room was roomy, beautiful, had incredible views + a balcony, and was well equipped with a fridge and strong AC. the hotel was a brief walk from the sea, and there were plenty of restaurants/boulangeries/grocers within a short walk. the nearest tram station was only a ~5 minute walk away, and provided rapid and cheap access to old Nice, Place Garibaldi, NCE airport, Nice-Ville train station, and really anywhere else you’d wish to go in town without needing to order an uber.
