Summary: Parking was easy and safe. The double room was small and it would be advisable to check with the hotel to ensure you get a decent sized room. On our last morning there was no water for washing or shower. I had to find a receptacle and carry water to the room from the pantry in order to wash and flush the loo. I know this was beyond the hotels control but it was awkward. I asked for a refund and was given £28 pounds. The ambience to the place is lovely as is the surrounding parkland. Staff were very good. Just a sad set of circumstances took the edge of our visit. We would consider returning but on the proviso the room was to our needs.
