Summary: The location of the hotel was quite convenient, with a tram stop right across the road making it very easy to get around the city. However, there weren’t many local shops nearby, as most amenities were on the other side of the city centre. Thankfully, the tram made travelling simple and straightforward. The staff were the highlight of the stay – really friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They couldn’t have been nicer, and their service was excellent. That said, the hotel itself needs some serious refurbishment. It is advertised as a 4-star, but in reality, I would rate it more like a 3-star. The cleanliness was disappointing – there was dust on the phone and lamps, hairs on the bed and in the bathroom, and the floor did not feel properly cleaned. The paint was peeling from the walls, which added to the tired feel of the place. On the positive side, the room size was adequate for our needs, but overall, the property would benefit greatly from a refresh and more attention to cleaning standards.
