Summary: The place was clean, staff Friendly & food lovely. But the building looking tired & is in need of maintenance. The main problem was the noise. We were in the captain's suite. Which seems to have the owners family accommodation next to & above the room. I was hoping for a quiet few days away but instead had to listen to there dog whining at a joining door to our room & loads of banging around upstairs. You can also hear the people in the next room clearly. We were also very disappointed to be let down on a pre booked meal for my partner's birthday. We were only informed at breakfast on that day that there was no meals that evening because it was the chef's day off. Staff were apologetic & offered to recommend other options.
